Group Lessons
KidSpirit offers recreational group tennis lessons for all ability levels that will emphasize coordination, fitness, equipment knowledge, court etiquette, stroke development and fun! KidSpirit tennis lessons are for youth ages 3 to 18, and are taught in the indoor OSU tennis courts. Balls and racquets are provided!
Private Lessons
KidSpirit's private tennis lessons are great for beginner to advanced players! A trained KidSpirit tennis instructor will quickly improve anyone's game with one-on-one instruction.
To set up private lessons, please contact the KidSpirit office at 541-737-KIDS(5437).
Private lessons may be purchased in groups of ten with KidSprit's new Private Lesson Punch cards. For those wanting to test out our private lessons, individual lessons may be purchased in advance. Private Lessons are available upon instructor availability. Lesson information:
- One hour lessons
- Available for youth ages 5 to 18
- All abilities are welcome
- Trained tennis staff
- Racquets & tennis balls are provided
- Lessons are taught at the OSU indoor tennis courts

What to Bring
In order for tennis students to be able to fully participate in their tennis lesson, it is important that they are dressed appropriate and our prepared for the class. Please remember:
- Appropriate athletic clothing for active movement (please, no jeans)
- Athletic/tennis shoes
- Please leave jewelry at home
- Tie back long hair
- Bring a water bottle (not required, but water breaks will be provided)
- Tennis racquet (not required, KidSpirit has racquets that can be used for the lessons)
Viewing Classes
Indoor tennis courts: There is a small viewing area on the west side of the facility. There are 2 round tables and several chairs that can be used by viewing parents/guardians/siblings.
Outdoor tennis courts: There are a set of bleachers that are located between courts 7 & 6 that can be used by viewing parents/guardians/siblings.
* KidSpirit tennis instructors ask that if parent/guardians do stay and view classes, that they keep contact with their children to a minimum so that the instructors are able to build a teacher/student relationship with them.
